The unified trust protocol for TCG

Trade with
CONFIDENCE.

Most card deals happen with strangers — a Reddit comment, a Discord DM, a marketplace listing with no history you can check. RepDex is the Reputation Index for TCG trading: Rep for reputation, Dex for the index. Buyers and sellers verify the accounts they actually deal on — eBay, Reddit, Discord — and their real transaction history rolls up into one consolidated RepDex Score.

For platforms with no feedback system of their own, RepDex adds the missing pieces: a Trade Handshake that puts the terms in writing before anything ships, and two-sided reviews after both traders confirm the deal is done. Less time vetting strangers, more confidence to trade.

Why RepDex

Off-marketplace trades have no buyer protection and no feedback trail. RepDex gives both sides something to check before money or cards move, and something to leave behind after.

Vet before you send

One username lookup shows a trader's score, tier, verified platforms, review history and any active risk flags — before you commit to the deal.

Proof, not screenshots

Accounts are verified through the platform itself and timestamped. Anyone can claim 500 clean trades; RepDex shows the record behind the claim.

Reputation you keep

Your standing stops being trapped inside one marketplace. Reviews from Discord, Reddit and in-person deals travel with you in a single portable score.

How it works

Four steps, from linking your accounts to a reviewed, permanent deal record.

Step 01

Link & verify

Connect your eBay, Reddit and Discord accounts. Verified links earn the Authenticated badge and pull public reputation signals into your score.

Step 02

Shake on the deal

Before anything ships, log a Trade Handshake: items, value, shipping terms. Your partner accepts or counters until both sides agree.

Step 03

Confirm & review

Both traders mark the deal complete, then reviews unlock. Each side leaves a grade and note, and both feed back into the score.

Step 04

Look anyone up

Search the Index by username before you send money and read the deal and review record on the public Ledger.

Trade handshake

Trust for deals eBay never sees

A handshake is a written agreement between two traders, created before the deal happens. It records who is buying, who is selling, what's being traded, the value, and the shipping terms — then asks the other side to sign off. A Discord DM or a Reddit thread becomes a timestamped, two-sided record neither person can quietly rewrite later.

That's what makes off-platform reviews believable. A review attached to a completed handshake is marked verified and counts triple toward the RepDex Score, because there's an agreed deal behind it — not just one person's word.

  1. Step 01

    Propose the terms

Log the platform, items, value, currency and who ships first, then send the handshake link to your trading partner.

  2. Step 02

    Counter until it's right

The other trader can counter-offer with adjusted terms. Every version is kept, so the final agreement is the one both sides actually accepted.

  3. Step 03

    Accept and trade

Once accepted, the deal is locked in with a timestamp and both traders' identities attached to it.

  4. Step 04

    Both confirm completion

Cards and cash change hands, then each side marks the deal complete. Reviews stay locked until both do — no reviewing a deal that never finished.

  5. Step 05

    Reviews unlock

Both traders rate each other. The two reviews are linked to the same handshake, so anyone reading them sees both sides of one deal.

  6. Step 06

    It goes on the record

The completed deal lands on the public Ledger and, if something goes wrong, the agreed terms become the evidence in a dispute.
